nMetrics Application Monitors

The Application Monitor comes in four models to scale to suit the needs from small organizations through to large corporations.

nMetrics Application Monitor 3001

The 3000 series Application Monitor is the perfect low cost solution for small office or remote branch installations. The Application Monitor 3001 can actively monitor 4 subnets with link speeds up to 1000.

The Application Monitor 3001 can exist as either a stand alone unit or as part of distributed Application Monitor installation. The small form factor make this unit ideal for installation in remote sites.

The Application Monitor 3001 comes standard with 4 x 100 Ethernet ports and may be installed either in-line between router and switch or in an 'off-line' position by connecting it to a switch mirror port or network tap.

The standard configuration uses a hard disk to store local data, alternatively, the Application Monitor 3001 may be deployed with Compact Flash storage to eliminate all moving parts. 

nMetrics Application Monitor 6001

The Application Monitor 6001 is designed specifically to meet the network performance management needs of corporate environments. Installed in the core of the network, the Application Monitor 6000 can take multiple inputs from both WAN and LAN segments to provide a complete picture of network performance. The Application Monitor 6001 can exist as either a stand-alone unit or as part of distributed Application Monitor installation. The Application Monitor 6001 comes standard with 8 x 1000 Ethernet ports and is normally installed in an 'off-line' position by connecting it to a switch mirror port or network tap.

nMetrics Application Monitor 9001/9051

The 9000 Application Monitor series provides network application performance monitoring for high speed Gigabit links. The 9000 series provides the perfect solution for central office or campus based performance monitoring -the Application Monitor 9001 (AM9001) can actively monitor up to 200 subnets and the AM9051 can monitor up to 500 subnets with link speeds up to Gigabit.

The 9000 Application Monitor series can exist as either a stand-alone unit or as the consolidation point in a distributed Application Monitor installation.

Application Monitors 9001 and 9051 come standard with 4 x Copper Gigabit and 2 x fibre Gigabit Ethernet ports and can take feeds from multiple SPAN or mirror ports in the network.
