Network Emulation

iTrinegy Network Emulator (INE) products enable you to realistically recreate a wide variety of network conditions like latency, jitter, packet loss/error/reordering and bandwidth restrictions so that you can simulate environments such as Wide Area Networks (WANs), Wireless LANs, GPRS, 3G, IP over Radio / Radio over IP(RoIP), Satellite or MPLS networks. It is then possible to test the performance of new (or existing) applications in these replicated networks. Using these products from development, through testing to pre-deployment ensures your application will work and perform in its target network without the requirement for painful and expensive fixing, re-coding or re-designing.

INE Enterprise - for Multi-User/Multi-Site Network Simulation

iTrinegy Network Emulator – Enterprise (INE Enterprise) is a high specification yet affordable network emulator designed to:

  • Enable simultaneous multi-user/multi-site testing of applications in complex network environments
  • Simulate Routed Networks and QoS-based Networks (e.g. MPLS) in addition to standard Wireless LAN's, GPRS, 3G or Satellite Networks
  • Simulate Packet Shaping or Traffic Shaping devices such as may be used for Application or WAN acceleration

It is available in portable or rack-mount formats.

INE Ultra - for Very High Speed and Large Scale Networks

iTrinegy Network Emulator-Ultra (INE Ultra ) is a Next Generation network emulator that replicates high speed, high volume networks for large scale testing.

  • Sophisticated, but easy to use drag-and-drop GUI for quick network set-up
  • Every user /device and/or application can have an individual network experience (up to 30,000 experiences are possible)
  • Sophisticated Internal Routing provides support for many different forms of QoS/MPLS networks

INE Compact - Small, Silent and Simple to Use

iTrinegy Network Emulator – Compact (INE Compact) is a small, affordable, silent and simple to use inline network simulator designed to:

  • Enable developers and testers to check, at the desktop, how applications perform in wide area, remote or wireless network conditions
  • Be used in conjunction with Linux or Unix operating systems as well as Windows, switches, routers or VoIP devices – in fact any Ethernet based technology - to create realistic network conditions over the LAN.

INE-LCD - WAN Simulation on the Go

iTrinegy Network Emulator – LCD (INE-LCD) is a genuinely portable (8ins x 9ins x 2ins / 200mm x 240mm x 50mm), all-in-one network emulator which can be used to test the performance of any application or device on the go.

  • No need for a keyboard, monitor and mouse
  • All settings are simply made and saved via a front LCD screen with “car radio style” push buttons to choose pre-defined or programmable conditions needed to test any application in a realistic replication of the WAN/LAN
  • Ideal for IT purchasers, sales and pre-sales field-based specialists
  • Also use to check the impact of accelerator technologies.

INE for Windows - Network Emulation Software

iTrinegy Network Emulator for Windows (INE for Windows) is a low cost, simple to use network emulator designed to:

  • Install onto a Windows XP/Vista or Windows Server system and allow some or all of the applications running on that Windows system to “experience” realistic network conditions when accessing the network, rather than the near perfect LAN they’re connected to.
  • Be used by the Professional Developer, Tester or IT Specialist looking to test how their application(s) perform between individual workstations and servers.

INE for Windows enables you to develop as well as test software as though you were in the software’s target network and getting it right, from the start, will save fixing and re-writing agony later.

INE Companion - Network Analysis, Packet Capture, Generation and Replay

iTrinegy Network Emulator Companion (INE Companion) is a powerful product for monitoring and reporting on applications data flowing across live network segments, with the capability to generate INE Network Scenarios from this. These Network Scenarios can be uploaded to an INE Network Scenario Server (see below) for subsequent use with the main iTrinegy Network Emulator products.

In addition to its network analysis capabilities it also features packet generation, capture, decoding and replay.
